If man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God, then Johann Starck has provided a breadbasket for the Church with this prayer book. This book of daily prayers, hymns, poetry, and devotions presents in every syllable the Bread that has come down from heaven. Written as daily nourishment in the Word of God, this book also lends itself to meditation and prayer during many of life’s peculiar situations.
Our reprint is unique to other editions in that it retains the original translation and includes Starck’s Motherhood Prayers for All Occasions, which were a part of the first English edition of Starck’s Prayer-Book in 1921, thereby making our edition identical to the original.
